It is already hot here - 25C to be exact. I decided to take a cold shower to cool off, then realised, I'm not cut out for sado-masochism and turned the heater on. Halfway through my shower, I heard the phone ring so I ran out to get the call. It was my father.
"Do you know you're not meant to eat Chinese food?"
He asked.
"Do you realise your daughter is now in Hong Kong?"
I asked him.
"Give it up, Dad!"

So the suncream factor 25 comes out as I realised I need to escape the flat. I also realise that the sight of Hello Kitty on the tv screen is not something I need.

It is a beautiful day in Hong Kong. Hollywood Road remains the same as ever. It is busy, full of people and there are several new restaurants and bars around. I ponder these changes, decide I have changed far more than this place will ever do, and walk along the street listening to music.
