Right, right, write, I tell you...
According to Snoopy's Guide to the Writing Life, Danielle Steele believes that becoming a writer is not a matter of waiting for your Muse, it is all about sitting at your typewriter at 9am every morning to start typing away as if your dear life depended on it for a couple of months until you have written out the outline you have been working on for over a year into a novel. So it's just a matter of self-discipline.
If you think you have it in you, you can try writing
a 50,000 word novel this November (one month). Or, if you think you can do one up from that, you can try writing
two 50,000 word novels in November (still one month!).
It appears there are many people out there who are willing to go through self-inflicted misery in the month of November.
Me? I'm delirious anyway. I'm off to see the doctor.
