A simple plan

Mission: To get out of Hong Kong/Korea for Christmas/New Year.

Purpose: To spend said Christmas/New Year with M.

Tasks:
1. Get tickets (and find way of paying for them - wash dishes? prostitution?)
2. Get work out of way (paralyze clients? clone self? shut down the courts?)
3. Fake a couple of sick days if needs be (imbibe large quantities of prune juice?)
4. Find a way of getting parents less upset (i.e. bring them back from the brink of wailing things like "Don't you want to see your parents any more now that you have a boyfriend?").

Progress report:
1. Have reservation. Debating whether prostitution will get her struck off and if so, will anyone care?
2. Have started on two new files in the past 24 hours. Damn, damn, damn.
3. Need to work on that prune juice. Or was that meant to be booze?
4. Feel sick thinking about it, much prefer to shut head in desk drawer.

Successful completion of mission?: Won't happen the way she is now after a 4 hour meeting in Chinese - like she understood any of it. Had to peer over Chinese trainee's shoulder to read her notes, which were luckily being taken down in English. Ask again later once she's recovered.

Recommended procedures: Wear wigs/flashy leather outfits/big sunglasses to confuse colleagues when leaving the office. Trust no one, not even your mother (traitor to the nation) or father (double agent like you). Oh no, that's ALIAS....Um hm.
(Start again)
Lots of self-cheering (she is the queen of self-cheering - "Yaaaayyyyy!"), singing little ditties to self, sleeping and remembering to get on with it.
