It would appear that there are people out there who have really serious issues

A friend got a call from an unknown number on her mobile this lunchtime.
"Hello?"
"Hi, is this S.?"
"Yes, who is this?"
"Are you going out with P.?"
"Yes, who are you?"
"I'm H. I'm P.'s wife."
"What?"
"We've been married for nine years. He didn't tell you this?"
"No, of course not! How did you get my number?"
"I found it in his phonebook. I know he calls you very often but I couldn't work out who you were so I decided to call you."
"I see. Let me tell you P. has never told me he is married. I need to speak to him now."

Apparently S. and H. ended their bizarre conversation very amicably. S. then called P. who admitted he is married.

S. and P. met at a part-time master's course. They have been going out with each other for the past six months. I think the deception was possible because in Hong Kong most people live with their parents until they are married so they do not think it is strange not to visit each other's home. S. is heartbroken; P. had been talking of marriage. I guess it goes to show you really can't tell what someone is like and that there are many unscrupulous liars in the world.
