Oh no, it's deja vu all over again

I am going crazy in the office by myself, yet again. I foresee yet another night of madness with me going home at sunrise. And is this the first time I have been going nuts at work? No. I scrolled through my archives and I see that there are many panicked and stressed-out posts.

It has occurred to me that perhaps the reason why some of my readers read my blog is the fact that I regularly post these neurotic outbursts. There is some sort of satisfaction in seeing a corporate lawyer slowly but surely exhibit signs of burn-out, I suppose.

As much as I have enjoyed (unwittingly) entertaining you with tales of my crazy work hours and insane meetings, ladies and gentlemen, the time has now come for you to send in suggestions as to my choice of an alternative career. I am open-minded and willing to consider all proposals, except for the following:

1. Porn star. M. has decided this is not an option.
2. Lawyer.
3. Lawyer.

Er, it should also be 'child-friendly' in the sense that I should be able to have this new career and not have to worry about whether I can spend time with any children I may have in the future. I figure if I'm going to change my career path, it should be as close as possible to an 'ideal' one. Whatever that may be (and this is where you come in).

I look forward to hearing from you.
