Snow, blue sky and travels
We are going away to stare at lots of blue water surrounding an island. I will think about how it is that I cannot talk to people without sounding like a corporate drone, why it is so difficult to change yourself into someone different from your current self.
The snow fell so hard yesterday, you couldn't see across the Hudson. And yet after all that, the sky is still clear today.
Is part of ageing just learning to accept how little you can change about yourself?
